Weather whiplash.

It was 81 degrees on Sunday.

This is what it looks like right now. That white stuff? Yeah, it's snow. It's springtime in the Rockies, though, and this is all par for the course.

I think my neighborhood looks pretty like this, by the way. And I'm always enthralled when the buildings downtown are partially obscured by low, heavy clouds. Snow makes the city so much sweeter.

Of course, the backyard is a muddy mess thanks to the dogs. I'm so depressed just thinking about it. Very little grass left. sigh

Oh, well. Something to work on, yes? Something new to fixate on ... always in the market for that sorta' thing.

Happy Birthday, Emma!

Her birthday was actually yesterday, but the celebrations continue ... so far:
Ears pierced (on a special date last week with her father & stepmother).
Cupcakes in class.
Roses.
Chicken tikka masala and naan bread at Little India.
Horse-drawn carriage ride through LoDo.
Sleep-over out our friend Pam's house, with viewing of the latest "Dr. Who" ep on Sci-Fi.
Popcorn during said TV show.
Birthday party with six friends at Build-A-Bear Workshop.
Cake and punch and a carousel ride at the food court in Colorado Mills.
A new laptop from Uncle Denny and Auntie Laura, which now has wireless capability thanks to the networking Denny just set up on my PC.
Gold fish, the card, game with Laura.
Balloons, balloon, balloons courtesy of her step mom.
Another viewing of "The Chronicles of Narnia" ... planned for later this evening.

By the way, I'm really tired. lol

Me Funny.

the Wit
(76% dark, 34% spontaneous, 10% vulgar)
your humor style:
CLEAN | COMPLEX | DARK

You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.

I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer.

Your sense of humor takes the most thought to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.

You probably loved the Office. If you don't know what I'm
talking about, check it out here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/theoffice/.
