Holiday Blizzard 2007

If you turned on the news today, you might now it's snowing in the Mile High City. Couldn't have happened at a better time. OK, yes, I know it's awful for the thousands of people stranded at DIA, trying to get somewhere before the holidays hit. I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about those of us whose big issues this week are all the marks we need to hit before the weekend and the holiday.'=

Or thought we had to hit ... because now we can't do anything since Denver and Colorado are basically closed. And today, as I've lounged on my sofa, alternatingly watching the TV, browsing and chatting online and looking out my living room window at the horizontally blowing snow, I realized ... I needed this.

And so, for my own selfish reasons, I am happy to have a snow day or two. Here are some photos, which I just promised Emma via IM that I would post. They're blurry, but what is new?
